"This sounds very interesting.  I like the strategy for handling both levels in the same classroom.  Do you think any non-AP will eventually want to make the switch to AP?"

"Great job! I too switched to the flipped model this year. My % passing went from 52% to 81% in one year! I had 126 take it with 37 5's! I was very proud. My goal was to reduce the number failing and I think the flipped model helped those…"

I'm very pleased with my AP results after about 3/4 year of using a Flipped Model, I don't think I could go back.  I'd love to hear from others of you that have flipped and see how your exam scores turned out.  Here's a comparison:…See More

Current Set-up of My Flipped Classroom:

[1]  Videos created by Camtasia shared 48 hours prior to class.  (We are alternating 75 min block).

[2]  Students are sent a google form asking them to summarize the lesson and submit one question they had after viewing.

[3]  In class students typically have 3 sets of 4 problems to complete.  The first is done alone to ensure basic individual understanding of the video.  Notes and textbook are allowed.  The second two they may work in groups.  Each set must by 100% correct before I will give the next.  Students who do not finish will only take 1 sheet home with at at time.
