HI Jodi,

After asking around here the general consensus is that the Bamboo tablet might having a setting in it that determines if the pen is being used to annotate or act as a left click. Has it always been this way or is this a recent occurrence?

I received your message about having trouble with the bamboo tablet advancing your powerpoint slides.  I also had this same issue when I first started.  I downloaded a free screen writing program called omnidazzle.  I am able to set the keyboard shortcut for each color that I want to use.  You do have to make sure the program is open each time you plan to record.  The drawbacks of this program....If I forget to close omnidazzle and I click the shortcut while typing, then it activates the pen.  There is also no way to save what you wrote and you have to clear the screen before advancing to the next slide.  This is one solution that I have and it works well for me, although I had to practice a little in order to be able to record smoothly.  Hope this helps!
