Crystal
Looking at all the structure you build into your flip, I was wondering if you're aware of http://curatr.co.uk/index.php (no association)? It just made me think of you.
Crystal Kirch said… Students can retake the concept quizzes as many times as they want. Mine are graded on a scale of 2-8, with a 6,7,8 being passing scores. If they don't pass it, they have to make corrections on it and cannot retake it again until the next school day. I usually have one version of the quiz for every day of the unit, so if the unit is 8 class days, I will have 8-9 versions of the quiz.
Lisa Bregman said… Thank you very much for responding! When you give your concept quizzes and if they get below a certain percentage (maybe 80%), do you have another quiz with different questions ready for them to take to be sure they master the skill? I was wondering how many different quiz versions I would need to make to ensure mastery? Thank you once again!!

Crystal Kirch said… Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your comment! I don't use the quizzing feature on Edmodo. All of my concept quizzes are done on paper and hand-graded so I can see their work as well. The only thing I use Edmodo for is class communication, reminders, alerts, etc. I do know several teachers use the Edmodo quizzing feature, but I'm not familiar enough with it to give you any advice :/.
I would just play around with it and see what works for you and what you are looking for. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Thanks,
Crystal Kirch
