Thanks for your comment! I don't use the quizzing feature on Edmodo. All of my concept quizzes are done on paper and hand-graded so I can see their work as well. The only thing I use Edmodo for is class communication,…"

I usually have one version of the quiz for every day of the unit, so if the unit is 8 class days, I will have 8-9 versions of the quiz.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your comment! I don't use the quizzing feature on Edmodo. All of my concept quizzes are done on paper and hand-graded so I can see their work as well. The only thing I use Edmodo for is class communication, reminders, alerts, etc. I do know several teachers use the Edmodo quizzing feature, but I'm not familiar enough with it to give you any advice :/.
I would just play around with it and see what works for you and what you are looking for. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I finally organized all of my units/concepts (paper and electronic), all of my online projects and activities to give to the kids, etc, and am ready to load assessment questions for my first concept in my first unit. I am using Edmodo and Google Docs, but I dont know which tool to upload all of the concept quizzes... Do I use Edmodo and use short answer option? Edmodo does not seem to randomize questions and I was wondering how you felt about that? Do you administer your summative assessments online?
