"I agree with Kevin. There's no harm in having students take notes by hand. Besides, if we don't encourage consumption of writing utensils, I won't be able to find a pencil for less than $5 in a couple years!"

"What about taking notes by hand, then scanning them into the computer? If you don't already use Evernote you should check it out. You can take notes by hand, then take a snapshot of them and put it in your Evernote notebook and add tags to make…"

To compute or not to compute.....That is the question?????

I come from a 1 to 1 school, in other words every student has a laptop. I would like to use cornell notes for student to take notes. But I am not sure on the delivery method. Do I let them complete their cornell notes on the laptop? The reason I am inclined not to do so would be the back and forth between notes and video. Would this lead to distraction to easily?Like to hear thoughts or experiences.See More
