Hi Everyone,

I'm Emily, teaching high school math in Byfield, MA. I flipped my AP Stats class this year and love it, but I'm currently the only flipper in my school. So glad I found this group.

Ellen are you using Moodle in Ashland?

Hey!  I just realized this Mass group was here!  I've been flipping for two years and love it - I'm a middle school French/World Language teacher in Ashland, MA!  I would love to work with others in Mass and am thinking about hosting here in Ashland.  Love to hear what you're doing!

I will be going and am looking forward to it! I used a trial version of Snag-it this summer to make most of my videos, and I am really looking forward to learning how to use Camtasia to make the vidoes more professional for my students.

Looking for other science teachers that may be interested in making some instructional videos together.  Thanks!  I am in Dudley at Shepherd Hill Regional. Chemistry and Physical Science.

Did you see this infographic from eFrontLearning? It certainly validates what you are doing!

You all might be interested in the number of sessions at MassCue that deal with Flipping ... seems to be one of the more popular topics this year!  This has always been one of my favorite conferences!

Hi, I live on Cape Cod and am a Certified Moodle Course Creator as well as a consultant/trainer for implementing Moodle in the classroom. I have been following "flippers" after several teachers took my grad courses and introduced me to the concept.  I started a discussion @ http://flippedclassroom.org/forum/topics/moodle-for-flipped-classrooms as a result as I was curious as to the number of people who used Moodle as their tool. WOW!  I am impressed with the numbers!

I am thrilled to find a group so close to "home" doing this!  Kudos to you all ... I know the amount of work you must be putting into "flipping"!

Hi Mass Flippers, I am a 6th grade math teacher in Bellingham. I have flipped a bit but am ready to go all the way this year. I am excited about all the sharing between teachers and look forward to discussion with all of you. I have made a few videos and am trying to plan the best approach. I am also working with the state DESE on building model curriculum units for the new standards and so my brain is spinning with new ideas and inspirations. Thanks @Sue Miller for sharing your ideas on tools. I am still working on which tools work best for me. I do like Screenomatic and Learnzillion. I want to be careful to keep things interesting and engaging so I can get the students to buy into this new lesson delivery. Has anyone tried Powtoons yet? It is fun but takes a bit to learn.
