Are you currently flipping? Would you like to and don't know where to start? What resources can you share or questions do you have?

Hello. This year I am involved in teaching Media and Visual Design in an Adult learning environment. With semester 2 the learners are creating their own video / film production using production techniques. We have the LMS Moodle and my class has access to resources that I have imbedded from youTube or documents that I have written. Access to the material is low and I need inspiration to entice the learners to explore and make the learning theirs. Carole I hope that I can share some ideas and discuss further with you.
Hi all, I'm interested in flipping my art classes and am overwhelmed about where to start. I teach Digital Photography and Design, Drawing and Painting. I'd love to get this going! Any advice would be great!
I am trying to get my head around seeing my students 35 times a year, creating 6 major projects, and getting high quality work and including flipping my classroom. I feel like it's adding another element. Since my students will have to watch it in class, do I have them all watch at the same time? Then work table by table small groups? I feel like I would be wasting time while they are all watching at the same time.
For those who are interested, an example of one of the ways I flip the classroom in my Grade 11 Visual Arts class at Parklands College can be found here:
I am a K-5 Elementary Art Teacher. I can't wait to try this out this year. Last year, we started with Edmodo but, my students complained that it was too slow. I think this will be a great time saver!
Hello Arts Fkppers. I have just presented on vodcasting to our music faculty http://selkirk.ca/program/music. They are interested in speaking with flippers who work in a music context. I see there is some experience with using video to teach the recorder. Any other experiences/tips?
Hello ARTS group! Does anyone have experience using Blackboard Collaborate for teaching an Art Flipped Classroom? Next month I'm facilitating a live interactive webinar where I will demonstrate how BbCollaborate can be used to empower the Flipped Classroom. As a person passionate about arts and crafts, I would LOVE to mention some Arts use cases? Any experience or ideas are welcomed, encouraged and appreciated.
I am a high school Art teacher and ICT Integrator in Cape Town. Have flipped a couple of classes, but want to be more thorough and academic about choosing which topics to flip and to make the lesson really engaging and inspiring.
The music teacher at my school has posted instructional videos on how to play the recorder on the school's YouTube site. Students can practice at home along with the video. Nice close ups of correct finger placement...The students seem to like this and parents can observe a lesson this way too. He's doing other videos too and I will share this site with him. Perhaps he will post here in the future.
Hi! I am a music teacher and am planning to start some flipped instruction in the 2012-13 school year. Any other music teachers in this group or are you all visual? I am planning to add video mini-lessons for the kids as they walk in the room, as well as some videos for practice help at home with recorders.
